Cyprus is a unique wine-growing country; the climate and topography mean that the vineyards are completely free of pests and diseases found elsewhere. With wine growing regions up to 1,400m, it produces wines made from ancient grape varieties with some going back 6,000 years. They include Xynisteri and Maratheftiko.

Wylaade has just received a range of exciting Cypriot wines which will be featured during this tasting. Our host Christian Kern will complement the tasting with his home-made Cypriot Stifado, a Cypriot meat stew with fresh spices such as star anise and cinnamon.
